THE LONGEST CEMETERY IN THE WORLD

#1
In the 2,500 years of constructing the world's longest and largest man made structure still existing, The Great Wall of China (pictured), more than 1,000, 000 laborers were used, including civilians, soldiers, and convicts.
The toilsome work took many lives. It is estimated that around 400,000 builders died and some are said to be buried in the long wall that gives the dreadful saying of the ‘longest cemetery’.
Today, it attracts 50 million visitors every year, and has been visited by more than 460 state heads from around the world, including General Yakubu Gowon, Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Umaru Musa Yar'Adua.
